The service is powered entirely by 100% renewable energy sourced from Norwegian hydropower, and it ensures that all data is stored within Norway, protected by stringent Norwegian and European privacy laws. Jottacloud offers features such as automatic backups, original and uncompressed quality storage, AI-powered photo search, and fast upload and download speeds. In March 2025, Jottacloud merged with Telenor Software Lab to strengthen its position as a Norwegian challenger to global cloud storage providers, aiming to offer secure and sustainable storage solutions to over 2 million active customers.
